Online marketers promote transcranial direct current stimulation

I guess it’s not surprising that a number of companies now offer overpriced equipment for  transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS).

However, this post, from the Australian Broadcast Company, warns about the possible misuse of tDCS. I am especially concerned about the use of this equipment on minors. Almost all the research has been conducted on adults and, while promising, we do not know what effects this technology has on the developing brain.
